Ingredients:
125 g Butter
1 ½ cup Flour
¾ cup Sugar
3 tsp Baking powder
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1tbsp Cocoa Powder
¼ tsp Baking Soda
½ cup Milk
3 tbsp Hot Water
Method:
· Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
· Put butter in bowl and whisk it add sugar. Cream butter and sugar together.
· Add egg to butter and sugar mixture and beat well. Sugar needs to be all dissolved at this point.
· Now start adding milk slowly and beating as well.
· Sift together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Fold in flour mixture to butter, sugar and egg batter with spoon, try not to overdo it. Flour needs be mixed properly and there should be no lumps or dry flour.
· Now in ¼ tsp baking soda add hot water mix it and add this to batter and mix. Now pour mixture in the prepared pan and put in preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 min at 175 degree Celsius.
· Cake is ready when toothpick inserted comes out clean.
