Mutton Namkeen Boti by chef Zakir



Ingredients:


Boneless mutton                       ½ kg
Yogurt                                       250 gm
Green chilies                             4
Khatai powder                           1 tbsp

Cumin - crushed                       1 tbsp
Black pepper- crushed              1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste                    2 tbsp
Oil                                              4 tbsp
Water                                         1 -½ glass
Coriander and ginger                 as required
Whole hot spices                        as required
Salt                                             to taste


Method:

  • Chop ½ kg mutton into small pieces.

  • In a pan, heat 4 tbsp oil and sauté  ginger garlic paste. 
  • Add mutton pieces in it and stir it till its water has dried.


  • Then add 250 grams yogurt and salt to taste in it and leave the meat to tenderize with closed lid.
  •  When meat has tenderized, include 1 tbsp crushed cumin, 1tbsp crushed coriander, whole hot spices( garam masala)  as required, 1 tbsp khatai powder, 1 tbsp crushed black pepper, 1 – ½ glass water and 4 green chilies that are sliced from the middle and cook it till water had dried and oil surface.
  • Dish out and garnish with chopped fresh coriander . Serve with naan or rice per your choice.
