Vinegar Chicken



Very few ingredients and so yummy, especially its very light compare to other meat dishes. Enjoy this vinegar chicken with fresh green salad whenever you are not in mood for rice or chapati/nan. A treat for weight watchers as as well.

Ingredients:
Chicken                                                1 kg
Vinegar                                                ½ cup
Lemon Juice                                       ½ cup
Red chili flakes                                  1 tsp
Salt                                                         ½ tsp – 1 tsp
Fenugreek  seeds                            1/2 tsp
Kalongi seeds                                    1 tsp
Fennel Seeds                                     1 tsp
Jalapeno Peppers                            2 - 3
Oil                                                          2 tbs


Method:
·         Blend  salt, vinegar, lemon juice and two Jalapeno peppers in blender and keep aside.
·         Heat oil in pan and add Kalongi seeds, Fenugreek seeds and Fennel seeds. Let them splutter then add vinegar mixture in it.
·         Put red chili flakes and washed chicken pieces in pan, stir to mix.
·         Cover the pan and let it cook for about 15 – 20 minutes on low heat.
·         Cook till chicken is tender and all liquid is evaporated. Cook for few more minutes till you see oil on the sides.
·         Dish out and serve hot with green salad/vinegar vegetables.
